Dec. 31: For the 25th anniversary of the “Al Jarrah” Scouts, the Italian peacekeepers stationed in the western sector of Lebanon were guests at the “Bassel al-Assad” Cultural Center of Tyre . The association, which thanked the Italian contingent for the consolidated action of support and patronage, is a nonprofit organization that operates in southern Lebanon protecting motherhood, childhood and the environment, active in the fields of preventive health care and reforestation. The day ended with a choral performance of the local Scouts. Overall, it was a joyous and happy occasion in which the Italian forces and the local youth came together.
