Jan. 6 – On Monday, January 13, the Italian Cultural Institute in Cologne will inaugurate the Italian Style: Das Haus kleiden exhibition, which will remain open until Friday January 31 as part of Passagen 2014. The inauguration will take place in the presence of Giorgio Forni, president of the Sartirana Art Foundation. The exhibition illustrates the relationship between the Italian design industry and designers’ creativity. On display, there will be historical and contemporary furniture and household objects, designed by Giancarlo Zompi, Lodoli , Angelo Bozzola and other designers. The aim is to show how design quality has always been central to Italian homes.
