Jan. 22 – Brazil drew to a close today the ” Première Vision Sao Paulo,” the most important South American exhibition dedicated to the textile industry. The event took place within the Expo Center Norte Fairgrounds of the city and the Italian textile companies made the most of it. The ICE Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian firms coordinated the participation of 9 Italian companies, all from Lombardy (8 from the province of Como). The event included an Indigo section, dedicated to fabric printers of fabrics and textile designs. Première Vision takes place twice a year in January and July for the presentation of the spring/summer (January) and autumn/winter (July) collections. Brazil is a growing market for the fashion industry, as consumer tastes shift towards sophisticated products. The ICE Agency’s participation in the event is an intervention for the promotion of the Italian textile industry in the South American market, with the specific objective of promoting knowledge of the Italian market and researching for local counterparts.
