Feb. 10 – The Del Conca Group is making an investment worth more than $50 million, of which $30 million in Italian technology. The ceramic company begins today its production in the United States. 155 Del Conca Way in Loudon, New Hampshire, is officially the reference address of Del Conca USA, home of the new 30.000m2 plant built in less than a year on a plot of 110.000m2. The complex also includes a 1000m2 building for showrooms and administrative offices. The external structure of the building and the production equipment were all made in Italy. Today, after carrying out qualitative tests on raw, semi-finished and finished materials, the company can finally produce its first All-American tile. Production is currently set for 3 million m2 of tiles per year. Meanwhile, Del Conca USA presented its production at Surfaces 2014 in Las Vegas while waiting for its big launch – with double the space compared to last year – at Coverings, the most important exhibition in the American industry, which will be held in late April in Las Vegas.
