Feb. 18 – The first Social System Digital able to modifying economic flows and promoting a more equitable distribution of wealth in the world is the idea behind Fabrizio Politi’s SixthContinent, a virtual project heading to the Silicon Valley with other innovative and unique Italian start-ups. SixthContinent was greeted with enthusiasm and chosen among the top projects of Plug&Play, the incubator from which Google and Paypall started. SixthContinent represents the international consumer community that chooses to buy consciously, by selecting products not just in terms of price and quality, but also by choosing to contribute to the growth of companies that encourage a more equitable economy model. In the Silicon Valley, the project will take off in all its applications. Within the digital system, shoppers, managers, citizens and administrators will interact: for businesses, SixthContinent provides viral marketing tools and offers (Groupon style); the SixthMarket app is reserved for the management of commercial transactions that you to receive payments through an electronic portfolio and a global digital currency; for public administrators, the community offers socially useful projects, which are rated by the “we want” option. Finally, individual citizens may manage their own personal and professional profiles, sharing photos and statuses. SixthContinent will be launched in the U.S. market on October 12, on Columbus Day. Contrary to other start-ups incubated in the Silicon Valley, Politi’s project is already a reality, with 13.000 “citizens” and a well-defined mission: move global economic flows in favor of the 99% of the population, creating value by connecting on a single platform citizens/consumers, businesses and companies, categorized by the green Mo.Mo.Sy algorithm, and operating in conditions of fair competition.
