Tokyo – On April 16th, at 6 pm, at the Institute of Italian Culture in Tokyo, Prof. Hermann Haller will present the edition of the first bilingual vocabulary Italian-English which he developed in 1958: “A Worlde of Wordes” by John Florio, published by the University of Toronto Press. The main areas of interest of Haller, who teaches Italian Literature at the Graduate Center and the Queens College of the City University in New York, are Italian linguistics and dialectology, Romance philology, Italian as an immigrant language and dialect literature.
