Sao Paulo – After his success last December at the Metropolitan in New York – where he celebrated his 200th Falstaff of his career – Italian baritone Ambrogio Maestri will play once again the protagonist of Verdi’s masterpiece at the Municipal theatre in Sao Paulo. “At this point, I can say Sir John is part of me – says Maestri – and he’s like a mirror in which I see my personal and artistic growth”. After Brazil, Ambrogio Maestri will be in Amsterdam next June and at the Colon Theatre in Buenos Aires in September. (9colonne)
