Rabat – For an entire year, an Alitalia aircraft will bear the name of Friuli Venezia Giulia when on route to North Africa and Europe. According to an agreement for the promotion of tourism between the Aeroporto FVG and Alitalia, the plane is decorated with a flock of hummingbirds, symbol of the Turismo FVG brand. “We are embarking upon – said the President of the Region, Debora Serracchiani – an extraordinary project to promote tourism. We find particularly apt the choice of hummingbirds: small, rare, lively birds, as special as the Friuli Venezia Giulia.” “Friuli – said Serracchiani – is the first Italian region to sign an agreement with Alitalia within its framework initiative ‘Alitalia per l’Italia,’ designed to bring Italian excellences in the world.
