(May 7th) From the Sassi of Matera to the Rolli Palace of Genoa , from the Dolomites to the Cinque Terre, from the Palladian villas to Franciscans sites in Assisi, from the Patriarchal Basilica of Aquileia to the trulli of the Murgia, from the botanical garden in Padua to the Aeolian Islands and the Amalfi Coast: these are the Italian Unesco Heritage sites, part of the project “Mirabilia”, created by the Chambers of Commerce to promote Italy abroad that has just been selected by the national jury to participate in the European Enterprise promotion Award 2014. The nomination for the award, to identify successful initiatives and promote enterprise and entrepreneurship, will allow the project to represent Italy , among others selected in Europe, during the final which will take place in October in Naples. The project , which takes its name from the mirabilia Urbis Romae – guides written by travelers who led the ancient pilgrims towards the eternal city – aims, through the web and events in Italy and abroad, to promote less known UNESCO sites.
