San Francisco – On April 28, during the ASAPS conference in San Francisco, the Italian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (AICPE) signed an agreement with the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), one of the most important scientific societies of aesthetic plastic surgery in the world, founded in the U.S. in 1967. ASAPS is a point of reference for the aesthetic surgery sector, and it has as its members the best aesthetic plastic surgeons in the world; AICPE is the Italian counterpart of the American institution. This is an important goal for the Italian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, which was founded in 2011 and today, with 230 members, is one of the largest European companies dedicated to the sector. “With this document, the ASAPS board of directors recognizes AICPE as a reference company in Italy – explains Gianluca Campiglio, AICPE founding member and signatory of the agreement – The agreement includes a number of interesting initiatives. In particular, we have agreed to strengthen communication between the two institutions and increase scientific exchanges between the two communities.” (9Colonne)
