Brussels – The Foreign Affairs Council meeting held today in Brussels will address the plight of Nigerian students kidnapped. The Italian Minister Federica Mogherini will attend the meeting and has already announced her intention to propose a “European coordination” to effectively solve the issue. “We propose – said the Foreign Affairs Minister – that the EU coordinate our national efforts to free the girls. We think it is useful that our countries talk about this and work in a the most coordinated way possible: we’re not interested in having strong leadership from just one country, rather we want to reach a concrete and positive result.” (9Colonne)
