Cannes – There will be also a young Italian talent, alongside stars such as Catherine Deneuve and Guillaume Canet, in the cast of “L’homme qu’on aimait trop” (In the name of my daughter), the latest film by director André Téchiné, which will be presented tomorrow at the 67th Cannes Film Festival. Mauro Conte plays the role of Mario, the private driver by Renée Le Roux (Catherine Deneuve), which owns the casino Palais de la Méditerranée, and in one of the moments of the film, also sings a famous Italian song together with the French diva. The film, out on July 16th in France, is inspired by a true story: the mysterious disappearance of Agnes Le Roux, against the backdrop of a ruthless war between casinos in Nice in the Seventies.
