Bethesda – The Laboratory of Cardiovascular Endocrinology of the IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana in Rome published in Faseb Journal the results of its long research project on obesity. The results show that mice that had been administered a particularly fat diet and were treated with a drug containing mineralocorticoid receptor (MR) antagonists did not gain weight thanks to the drug, which blocks the expansion of adipose tissue and improves glucose tolerance.
