May 23 – “The mission in Turkey will be an opportunity to evaluate a range of interesting opportunities. In this area, our businesses can and are finding concrete business opportunities.” Says Alessandro Barberis, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Turin. Barberis refers to the mission of the automotive industry scheduled for May 26-29 during which 14 Piedmont companies will travel to Turkey to meet with purchasing managers, technicians from local manufacturers, system administrators and first-tier suppliers. The program includes 33 pre-arranged B2B meeting with a selection of buyers. The initiative follows the template of a similar mission held in Brazil May 5-9. In Turkey, the delegation will meet with: Ford Otosan, a leader in the production of cars; Tumosan, the most important manufacturer of diesel engines; Turk Traktor, among the largest global manufacturers of tractors; and Tofas, known car manufacturer.
