May 27 – The Brazilian market for micro, small and medium-sized Italian companies is the theme of a meeting held in recent days at the Embassy of Brazil in Italy with Confimprese Italia, its Roma Capitale, and the Trade Promotion and Investment Office of the Embassy. “The meeting – read a note by Confimprese Italia – centered on Brazil’s market and the ‘know-how’ that Italian companies can bring to a large country of over 200 million inhabitants and 8.5 million sq. km. We also mentioned the possibility of Brazilian MSMEs interacting with Italian companies and of the two economies deepening cooperation.” “There was – said Fabio Desideri, secretary general of Roma Capitale for Confimprese Italia – great interest on the part of the Brazilian Embassy towards Italian MSMEs and towards the added value Italy can contribute to their huge market. But we must also continue exploring the possibilities of working with Brazilian SMEs to bring added value into our own market.”
