Versailles – A first and enjoyed success for the Italian team competing these days in Versailles at the Solar Decatlhon Europe 2014: RhOME for denCity, an eco-house designed as a housing solution for upgrading the outskirts of the Italian capital, was awarded the first prize for the category of social housing new construction and the second in the overall standings. A nice recognition for the team of students and researchers at the University of Roma Tre, led by architect Chiara Tonelli, which, although not part of the test score of Solar Decathlon, is certainly a prove of appreciation for the Italian project by the Cecodhas, the European Agency for Social Housing.
