July 10 – Corrado Veneziano is back in Brussels with the exhibition “No loghi,” on display at the Italian Cultural Institute until September 2. After his “Non Luoghi,” reviewed by Achille Bonito Oliva and Marc Augé, the artist proposes his most recent pictorial research on codes of mass communication with the exhibition “No Loghi.” It opened yesterday at the headquarters of the Institute with a presentation by Derrick De Kerckhove, a leading expert in digital culture, follower of Marshall McLuhan. Between attraction and disturbance, Veneziano paints bar codes, ISBN numbers, QR mazes, and electronic pointers overlapped them in cloth and colors as tempting digital agents bringing out our anthropological concerns.
