London – Rome, and now the whole world know him thanks to his graffiti of Pope Francis as Superman. Now, Mauro Pallotta, aka Maupol, is crossing the English Channel towards Le Dame Art Gallery in London. There, Pallotta will give a preview of his new work, which will homage Queen Elizabeth. Maupal uses mainly spray acrylic on steel wool, and his work has political and social value. Portraits such as the ones of Islam and Hitchcock are a sign of the artist’s temperament and sensitivity. The exhibition will open on August 11 and will close on August 23. (9Colonne)
