(Aug. 6) In the background two musicians dressed as women. In front of them a singer – wrapped in a sexy little black dress – with an appealing look. The one of “Some Like It Hot” – the Billy Wilder film with Marilyn Monroe – is just one of the famous posters on display at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles (West Hollywood – Space B231) on the occasion of the exhibition “Hollywood in Post-War Italy” organized by the Center itself and the Cohen Film Collection in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles. The exhibition, that will run until September 1st, celebrates the American culture in Italy putting on show over 100 rare posters of American films released in Italy after the Second World War.
