Aug. 26 – Companies active in the automotive industry all over the world are getting for Frankfurt’s big event. And Italy’ ICE Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian firms is doing its part under the Plan Export South, in support of the Convergence Regions (Calabria, Campania, Puglia and Sicily). The ICE Agency is organizing their collective participation to Automechanika Frankfurt 2014, which will be held at the Frankfurt Fair September 16-20. Automechanika, now in its 23rd edition, is a landmark event for the European automotive industry. The event is held every two years and in its last edition, it covered a net exhibition area of 170,000 square meters, with 4.597 exhibitors, of which 3,649 foreign companies and 545 Italian, as Germany is Italy’s first destination market for its exports in the sector.
