Sept. 9 – “The most grandiose book of the 13th century, through which the author expresses his satisfaction for having lived an extraordinary life, powerful, fertile, immeasurable, full of activities. Marco Polo is the tireless and undaunted protagonist, a character worthy of Dante’s Ulysses.” This is the comment of literary critic Attilio Momigliano on” Il Milione,” the central piece of the exhibition “Marco Polo. Le fabuleux voyage,” staged in Montreal until October 26 at the Pointe-à-Callière Museum. The Italian Cultural Institute of the Canadian city offers three guided tours (in Italian and entirely free of charge) to the exhibition, open to students and members of the ICI. The visits will be led by Claudia Polledri, a lecturer at the Institute on Friday, September 26, from 10 am to 11:30 am; Saturday, October 4, from 11 am to 12:30 pm, and on Sunday, October 5 from 11 am to 12:30 pm.
