Sept. 12 – Italian artist Domenico Monteforte is back in San Francisco, at the Italian Cultural Institute after the success of his 2012 exhibition. On Sept. 18, the Tuscan painter will paint at the headquarters, in a real “work in progress” exhibition. The artist will share with visitors the birth and development of his canvases. In addition, the artist will create a painting for the San Francisco Opera. Entitled “That’s Opera!” it will depict on canvas some of the greatest characters in the history of opera music that are in some way linked to the San Francisco Opera.
