Hong Kong – Starting tomorrow, and running until September 21, Piedmont will take part in the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, the largest sector-specific fair in the world. Twenty-three Piedmont companies, of which two from Turin, and the rest from Alessandria, flew to Hong Kong thanks to the Piedmont Gold Excellences Integrated Supply Chain Project, aimed at developing international gold sector Piedmont. The project is operated by the Foreign Centre for Internationalisation (CeiPiemonte) on behalf of Piedmont Region, Unioncamere Piemonte and the Chambers of Commerce of Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta. The Piedmont exhibitors mainly produce finished jewelry in gold, platinum and silver with diamonds and gemstones. Most are regulars of the show, but 6 are participating for the first time, in the hopes of entering this important and expanding market. (9colonne)
