Paris – Brothers Massimiliano and Raffaele Alajmo, owners of Padua’s restaurant Le calenders and Venice’s Gran Caffè Quadri, tomorrow launch their new restaurant in Paris, Café Stern at 47 Passage des Panoramas. After seven years, the spaces that once hosted the historic engraving studio will now become an Italian-style café open from 8:30am until midnight. Breakfast will be served with coffee ground on the spot, while lunch, aperitivo and dinner will bring to the table a distinctive Italian flavor thanks to Chef Sergio Preziosi. Café Stern is the result of the collaboration of the Alajmo brothers with David Lanher, a young Parisian entrepreneur, architect Dominique Averland, who restored the walls and spaces, and Philippe Starck who managed every furniture and lighting detail in respect of this historic monument.
