Los Angeles – The Italian fashion house Dsquared2 has opened its first store in the US, in Los Angeles. The store is on Rodeo Drive, in the heart of Beverly Hills’s shopping area; and it covers an area of about 290 square meters on two levels. The ground floor houses the men’s collections, while the women’s collection is on display in the basement alongside the accessories and RTW, including the capsule collection of cocktail dresses and evening gowns inspired by Hollywood’s glamor. Children of two Italian who moved to Canada, twins Dean and Dan Caten (real last name: Catenacci) opened their first boutique in Milan a couple of decades ago. But Dsquared2 has since expanded as far as Russia and China, finally making its debut in the United States. (9Colonne)
