(Sept. 29 set) The World Congress of Accountants is defined as an “Olympics of the accountancy profession”: an appointment that from 1904 to today – every four years – brings together representatives of the world of accounting from the entire globe to discuss issues and outlook for the industry. Among them Andrea Fradeani, professor of Business Economics at the University of Macerata who has received a prestigious award: one of his last scientific work, “Implementation of Mandatory IFRS Financial Disclosures in a Voluntary Format”, was in fact selected among the “Highly Recommended Works” by the 2014 Congress. The recognition is awarded to the six best papers presented at the conference. “This work – says Fradeani – is the result of a research activity that has a classical role in Business Economy, such as that of the financial statements, through new technologies.” (red)
