Tel Aviv – The Embassy of Italy and the Italian Institute of Culture in Israel join forces to celebrate the XIV edition of the “Week of the Italian Language in the World.” During the week, which will take place October 20-25, opening night is dedicated to the Association Amitei Italy (in Hebrew “faithful friends of Italy”), which gathers hundreds of former Israeli students of Italian universities. The inaugural event, to be held on Monday October 20 at the Residence of the Ambassador of Italy to Israel, emphasizes the importance of languages as a vehicle of communication and a tool for knowledge and connection between people and cultures. Israeli professionals from different fields (doctors, architects, chefs, designers, restorers) have been invited to attend to share their experiences in Italy. (9Colonne)
