Oct. 23 – The University of Macerata has joined the prestigious Economic Policy Forum, an international network (whose secretariat is based in Berlin) that aggregates institutions and observers to discuss and implement joint initiatives on economic policy issues related to emerging markets. The main objective of the Economic Policy Forum is to provide a platform to promote dialogue and research on the challenges faced by emerging economies, in particular in terms of stability of the world economy and the quality of growth. “Joining the Economic Policy Forum – says Dean Luigi Lacchè – gives the University of Macerata international visibility as an institution of excellence. It allows us to set up working groups on international research projects and enter into agreements for the exchange of professors and students. As a member of the Forum, our University will participate in high-level events in which we will discuss issues of economics and economic policy in the international arena, together with influential and relevant actors.” (Red)
