Oct. 24 – The countdown has begun for the Grand Imperial Ball that will be held in Paris on Saturday Oct. 25 (at 6pm) at the Grand Hotel InterContinental. Charity, good taste, high society and historical dances will celebrate the 170th anniversary of the foundation, and the 153th anniversary of the recognition of the public interest conferred by Napoleon III via imperial decree in 1861 to the Palais des Tuileries, The Parisian event, organized by Baroness Maria Elena Saint Didier, for the first time will open its doors to the Compagnia Nazionale di Danza Storica, directed and headed by Nino Graziano Luca, who will perform in 19th century dresses to recall the noble atmospheres of Il Gattopardo. The dance company will stage “Dansant pour Napoleon III et Eugenie,” conceived and directed by Nino Graziano Luca and Carla Favata and represented by Harmonia Suave Company, which for the occasion will be almost entirely composed of Sicily-native dancers. The maestro Nino Graziano Luca said that “every show has its own uniqueness, offering moments of conviviality, elegance, high cultural, historical, and social value. Dancing we communicate; and these dances take us back to an era of historical figures, artists, and glamorous events. I want to thank Baroness Saint Didier for the invitation, which for the company is a great honor.” After the dance, there will be the Dancing Gala Dinner in the Opera Hall, with a menu prepared by the internationally renouned chef Christophe Raoux.
