We will give it our all; but whatever happens e, it’s already a great success.” Alessandra Amoroso doesn’t hide her satisfaction as she comments the results for MTV’s 2014 EMAs, one of the largest global music events. The singer, after winning Best Italian Act and 7 weeks of voting, was chosen as representative for the entire region; she is now one of the 10 finalists, from the initial 286 nominees, to contend for the Recognition Worldwide Act. The prize will be awarded on November 9 in Glasgow, on the stage of the EMAs. Voting for all categories is still open on mtvema.com. Alessandra Amoroso, meanwhile, delights Italians on the radio with the new single “L’hai dedicato a me,” from the Double Platinum album “Amore Puro,” still featuring on Italian sales charts more than a year after its release. The EMAs will be broadcast live on Sunday, November 9, starting at 9pm on MTV. Glasgow’s SSE Hydro ESS will be featured simultaneously on 60 MTV channels worldwide, reaching an audience of 700 million.
