Oct. 31 – The Rencontres Internationales du Documentaire de Montréal is ready to kick-off. November 12-23, the festival welcomes the Italian Cultural Institute and the Cultural Section of the Consulate General of Italy, which are supporting the Italian filmmakers in the competition: Yuri Ancarani (“San Siro”, running in the International Short-film Competition), Tony Girardin (“Marinoni”, presented in the Against the Grain section), Giovanni Donfrancesco (“The stone river”, presented in the Territories category), Alessio Rigo De Righi and Matteo Zoppis (“Belva Nera”, in the Retrospectives section).
