Muscat – From today untill Friday, a trade mission brings Italian companies of housing, contract and construction infrastructure sectors to Oman and Qatar. The Sultanate of Oman, the third largest country in the Arabian Peninsula, quickly establishing itself as a strong market on the international stage. Qatar is also undergoing a gradual consolidation of its image in the Middle East and on the international stage, which allowed it to win the bid to host the 2022 World Cup. The trade mission is part of the Integrated Market Project on the Persian Gulf, and was organized in coordination with the Planning Dept. of the Progetti Integrati di Filiera Design Building Living and Infrastructure & Logistics, managed by Ceipiemonte for the Piedmont Region, Unioncamere Piemonte and the Chambers of Commerce of Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta.
