Valletta – Live from Malta, on November 15; in Italy, it will air on Rai Gulp starting at 6:35pm. The “Junior Eurovision Song Contest” is an international singing competition dedicated to young people aged 10 to 16 from Europe. With the comment of the young conductor Simone Lijoi, the 2014 edition sees, for the first time, the participation of a young Italian, Vincenzo Cantiello, one of the stars of last season’s Rai1 program “Ti lascio una canzone.” Cantiello will compete with “Tu primo grande amore,” a song that evokes the raw emotions of adolescence and combines traditional and modern Italian melodies. The champion will be decided by a jury and the audience at home, who will be able to vote for their favorite perfomances. The program will have Antonella Clerici as special patroness of the event, and will feature rapper Moreno. (9Colonne)
