Lima – A delegation of ten young students and researchers from Trentino will attend the next Conference of the Parties (COP 20) of the UN Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), to be held December 1-12 in Lima. They are taking part in the project “Youth Press Agency” on Cooperation for Development, Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change, which will report on the COP 20 through the perspective of young people, through the production of articles, photos and videos. The meeting in Lima plays a role of great importance for the future of our planet, since ongoing negotiations should enable global partners to conclude in Paris in 2015, at COP 21,an ambitious agreement to keep global warming below two degrees Celsius, as recommended by the international scientific community.
