London – The Italian Embassy in London in Grasvenor Square, in the heart of the British capital, hosted “Basilicata: Film, Fashion and Food in Southern Italy”. The event was sponsored by the Local Action Group “The Citadel of Knowledge”, by APT-Basilicata Region and by the Lucania Film Commission to promote the uniqueness of Lucania through its typical products while using the international languages of cinema, and wine and fashion. Designer Michele Miglionico presented during the evening an installation of six high fashion clothes from his new collection “Michele Miglionico Haute Couture,” which draws inspiration from the women who live in Lucania, especially from the Madonna venerated in this land, displayed in processions and in popular culture.
