Dec. 15 – This time, she doesn’t amaze from a stage, but from the international coach chair of La Voz Mexico: after 4 months as coach, Laura Pausini took her last applause from the Mexican public in the last episode of the season, in which she reached the final stage, with her pupils collecting more votes than Ricky Martin and Yuri’s. The Italian singer brought to the brink of victory, for the first time in program’s history, a true rocker, Kike, who was defeated in the finals by Julion Alvarez, a young member of mexico’s traditional musical genre. This was a great for Pausini, who thrilled and entertained the audience, and supported all of her pupils with the determination has always distinguished her, sharing with them the secrets of her career, and bringing them on stage during her Mexican gigs. Laura Pausini stayed in Mexico after the end of her Greatest Hits World Tour. The series of concerts followed those in the US, confirming her enormous success with the Spanish-speaking public. She was recently handed the keys of Tijuana and was awarded her own star on Paseo de la Fama, the Mexican Walk of Fame.
