Jan. 8 – The harp is his passion and he has played it in the most important international festivals. Raoul Moretto was applauded in Switzerland, France, Belgium, China, Paraguay, Chile, Mexico, Brazil and Australia. The Italian-Swiss harpist is among the most versatile and popular of the decade, and The is now preparing to make a stop in Chile, in Santiago. Here, Italian Cultural Institute is promoting – in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy – a concert that will bring Moretti to perform on Monday, January 12 at the headquarters of the IIC, at 7:30pm. Moretti will stage “Harpscapes”, his new project with highly innovative content. The result of a deep research on the pure sound of the harp, with a calibrated and essential use of live electronics by Massimo Colombo, “Harpscapes” has already been presented in important festivals in Italy, Chile, Mexico and Brazil, debuting at the World Harp Congress in 2014 in Sydney. The project also involves the video artists of “Olo Creative Farm”, who, with creativity and imagination, created visuals that interact live during the concert. (red)
