Jan. 9 – Roberto Herlitzka is binging Pasolini’s poetry on stage at the ZKM Theater in Zagreb in an event organized by the Italian Cultural Institute. On stage between January 12 and January 20, the show is called “Una giovinezza enormemente giovane” written by Gianni Borgna and directed by Antonio Calenda. The text blends and reworks songs, thoughts and poems by Pier Paolo Pasolini in a dramatic and original monologue. “In a metaphysical evocation of Pasolini’s death – explains Herlitzka – we imagine that the writer sees himself massacred on the beach of Ostia. The show starts here. Today Pasolini would be 91, and this imaginary revision wants to be a tribute to his prophetic social and political thought, but also a summary of the most important moments of his civil and poetic testimony, now part of Italy’s national tradition.” (red)
