Melbourne – Two years since their last success, Fabio Fognini and Simone Bolelli are once again in the semifinals of the Australian Open. The Italian pair of the Davis Cup defeated in the quarterfinals at the Margaret Court Arena the Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas and the Spanish David Marrero in two straight sets, with a double 7-6 in one hour and 34 minutes of play. In the semifinals they will play against the couple formed by the Dutch Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau from Romania. The match is scheduled at the Rod Laver Arena on Thursday at 11am local time, 1am in Italy. For the Italian couple, this is the third Grand Slam double semi-final: the first was in 2011 at the US Open (where they were beaten by the Austrian Jurgen Melzer and the German Philipp Petzschner); the second in Melbourne in 2013, when the twins Bob and Mike Bryan defeated them.
