Jan. 30 – Stockholm is ready to host “The Fugue,” a festival organized by the European artistic network OuUnPo (Ouvroir of Univers Potentiels) in collaboration with Swedish artists, researchers and institutions. Starting on February 6, the Italian Institute of Culture in the city confirms that there will be actions, talks, screenings, workshops and performances in different venues and locations across the city of Stockholm. The festival has as its starting point the fugue state, a rare psychiatric disorder that is characterized by complete but reversible amnesia. The patient loses all traces of personal memory and identity, a condition that can last hours or days. People suffering from dissociative fugue often go on unplanned trips or just wander around, moments in which they establish a temporary new identity.
