Feb. 3 – The cooperation agreement between Italferr (an engineering companies of the Italian FS Group) and MM-Metropolitana Milanese seeks to combine their expertise to increase their presence on international rail and underground markets. Both companies are involved in the public infrastructure field. The aim is to put together technical and specialist skills, enhanced by continuous exchange of information and planned commercial actions of mutual interest, to promote their products and services. “We aim to strengthen our presence in areas where we already have ongoing projects and open up to new international markets,” said Matteo Maria Triglia, CEO of Italferr. “We decided to expand towards non-EU markets, as we think that our 60 years of experience and engineering capacity in the design and construction of infrastructures and networks – commented the President of MM-Metropolitana Milanese, Davide Corritore – can find important outlets in new areas of the world. We will pursue this strategy with a well qualified partner, Italferr, who already established positive partnerships worldwide, the latest in Ethiopia.”
