New York – Furniture made in Italy looks to North America thanks to a new international support mechanism dedicated to companies in this sector. The portal I Maestri is a showcase of more or less known names of Italian design founded by an Italian manager with a deep understanding of the American market, Paolo Timoni, former CEO of Piaggio USA. Timoni built the project after carrying out a thorough analysis that looked at the great, still untapped potential of the internet for Italian products. The digital platform is born with a clear economic objectives: “We aim to develop a turnover between $100 and 120 million within the next four or five years,” confirms Timoni in an interview with Il Sole 24 Ore.
