Feb. 10 – The US crowfounding site Indiegogo opened today the campaign for RIPCemetery, the project promoted by a group of young Italian entrepreneurs that want to create the first interactive virtual cemetery, where users will be able to visit their loved ones any time and from any place in the world, leaving a tribute or sharing photos or video of a precious memory. The goal of the campaign is to kick off the development of RipCemetery, an app that allows to share the memory of a loved one with acquaintances and friends, without constraints of time or space. “Following the premature loss of my cousin – says the founder, Jacopo Vitali – I realized that none of the common social networks would be fit to share my thoughts on him without seeming trivial. So I decided to create a space dedicated to all those people who, like myself, lost someone important and want to remember tehm with dignity.” The campaign will remain active on the platform Indiegogo until March 9.
