Tokyo – Over the past decade, the instrumental trio from Turin Stearica (Francesco Carlucci, Davide Compagnoni, and Luca Paiardi) established itself in the international indie scene thanks to tours and live performances with the likes of Girls Against Boys, NoMeansNo, Dälek, Tarentel, Damo Suzuki and Coliseum, creating the Acid Mothers Temple and the Stearica Orchestra, and recording an album with the Japanese band during the last day of their European tour. Fertile is the title of the second album, out in April with worldwide distribution thanks to Monotreme Records (65daysofstatic, This Will Destroy You, M + A). (9Colonne)
