Feb. 17 – The Italian Embassy in Prague is hosting today the meeting between Czech travel agencies and representatives of Italian regions and cities to discusss new tourism packages. Campania and Piedmont, but also cities like Bologna, Ferrara, Lucca and Bergamo, until little frequented by visitors from the Czech Republic, will present their best and most fascinating routes. “Czech tourists are gradually discovering all of Italy, but what about those regions and cities that remain less visible that are still worth a visit? – asked the Italian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Aldo Amati – For them we organized this meeting with ACK CR Travel Agencies, to whom I extend my personal thanks for their support in our new challenge.” The possibility to close a distribution partnership with the new regions was also appreciated by Fischer group representative Jan Osuch: “I think Italy has a lot to offer to Czech tourists, and I am also pleased to see that these regions have a lot to offer in terms of their selection of food and wine.” “I’m really pleased that the Embassy launched this initiative to expand the tourist offer for Czech travelers, encouraging the creation of new, concrete partnerships,” also commented Michal Veber, Secretary of the Association of Travel Agents of the Czech Republic.
