Feb. 19 – Italy’s food technology will be in Johannesburg in June (June 21-23, more specifically), to attend the next edition of Africa’s Big Seven, an event dedicated to products, raw materials, technologies, and supplies for the food industry. The Italian subsidiary of Koelnmesse (organizer of Anuga FoodTec) and Fiere di Parma (organizer of CibusTec) joined forces to organize a collective for Africa’s Big Seven, which last year attracted 225 exhibitors from 35 countries and a little less than 9.000 visitors from 44 countries. Participating in “Africa’s Big Seven” will allow the companies in the collective to make contact with a potentially large market. For the two trade fair organizers, it will allow them to evaluate the potential of future initiatives, as part of their common commitment in support of internationalization of Italian companies in the agribusiness sector. “After the success in China, Japan and Thailand – reads a note – now is the time to understand what prospects Africa can offer to the Italian agro industry, starting from technology.”
