Los Angeles – “Thanks Wes, this is for you. You’ve been a great inspiration, you’re like a conductor. Without you, I would never have been able to do the costumes my way,” with these words the Italian costume designer Milena Canonero thanked for her fourth Oscar, which she received for her costumes in Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Budapest Hotel.” Her previous victories were for her work in “Barry Lyndon” by Stanley Kubrick (1976), Hugh Hudson’s “Chariots of Fire” (1982) and “Marie Antoinette” by Sofia Coppola (2007).
