Mar. 6 – The goal is to make the most of the opportunities offered by an ever-growing industry like the tourist one and keep an eye on global trends. This is what the Hospitality Management master’s degree seeks to do, in collaboration with Cornell University in New York. Often, those who work in regional tourism companies focus too much on the local context. The aim of the Executive Master in Hospitality Management, offered by the Free University of Bolzano, on the contrary, is to broaden perspectives towards global trend and developments. This is possible thanks to the collaboration with the prestigious School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University in New York. The program’s international and practical character promotes strategic management skills, equipping students with the necessary knowledge to take on the challenges that industry players face in their daily work. The course is open to professionals, entrepreneurs and employees with managerial experience, to whom a University Certificate in Hospitality Management will be granted at the end of the program. The intention of the Free University of Bolzano is to meet the training and updating needs of industry professionals. Classes are held in the Department of Economics of the Free University of Bolzano, on the Brunico campus. The curriculum was designed and built with the active collaboration of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and the Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group (FMTG), which reserved some spots to the employees wishing to upgrade their profile.
