New York – This afternoon, the Casa Italiana Zerilli Marimò, headquarters of the Department of Italian Studies of NYU, host the play “Pazzi Lazzi,” in which actors Chiara Durazzini, Emanuele Capoano and Maya Attia, play famous characters of the Commedia dell’Arte. Arlecchino, Pulcinella, Colombina and Balanzone are all there, with their comedic problems – all derived from typical human weaknesses: envy, lust, greed… The show is accompanied by music performed on Renaissance instruments.
