Mar. 9 – The Guess Foundation, established in Los Angeles in 1994, arrives in Europe, and in Italy, with a first and ambitious project of great visibility in support of women victim of violence. The program includes the organization, by summer 2015, of a Denim Day, to generate a strong impact and promote a positive message directed at as many people as possible. The goal of the Guess Foundation is to leverage its strong brand image to promote social change and raise awareness on violence against women. “Our mission is to help raise awareness on this social evil, which is unfortunately still widespread,” commented Paul Marciano, president of the foundation, as well as CEO and creative director of Guess. “We feel the duty to draw the attention of the media on this issue in Italy. In recent years, this commitment has grown, since the statistics show that there is still much more to do and say.” (Sis)
